I’m Helen, a 40-something working mum rediscovering my creative side after years in the corporate world.
From studying at London College of Fashion to becoming a bead-crazed crafter (thanks to my thoughtful husband!), I’ve always been drawn to making things beautiful.
After our daughter arrived in 2019, I lost myself a bit in early motherhood—but I’m finding my way back through crafting, DIY projects, skincare, home decorating, and this wonderful creative community.
I prioritise cosy above all else (life’s too short for uncomfortable chairs and harsh lighting!). I can’t gatekeep to save my life (ask me anything!), so expect honest reviews, affordable home décor tips, craft tutorials, and general wittering about navigating midlife madness.
About the name: Helencellohome is a playful nod to a nickname I earned for my limoncello love at a friend’s Italian wedding, blended with my obsession for making everything cosy—I’m that friend who always has extra blankets and will light a candle at 2pm on a Tuesday.
